Not only the aging adult that needs assistance with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and running errands, but sometimes people need temporary help while recovering from an accident, illness or surgery. A new mother can benefit from help around the house, meal preparation, or assistance with caring for other children as she cares for the new born. A patient that receives outpatient surgery or that has been discharged from the hospital after a surgical procedure may not be fully ready to take care of themselves or their home as they recover.
